Venue

The author of the Latvian National Library “Gaismas Pils” is the internationally known Latvian architect Gunars Birkerts, who during the soviet occupation time emigration created the sketch of the library building. This was in 1989. Thus the road to build “Gaismas Pils” was difficult and timely until 2013 when the building of the library was finished.  “Gaismas Pils” will be the fruitful place of attaining the forum goals as it is the symbol of knowledge, cultural value and social life center.
